About

Different perspectivesThis cartoon is funny. In a very simple and subtle manner it says that everyone has a different perspective of this world. Like everyone, I have my views, my opinions and my perception of the world around me. This blog is about my experiences in Darden. Its not just about my experiences but also about the lessons I draw from those experiences as I filter the continuous bombardment of knowledge and ideas in this intellectually stimulating environment.

You will find broadly two kinds of posts on this blog.

  • Factual posts: These posts are inclined more towards facts and less towards interpretation; e.g. if I say its cold in Charlottesville in November, its more of a fact than my interpretation. However based on your resistance for cold weather you can argue that this is my interpretation. These posts are usually short and are aimed at casual readers.
  • Cryptic posts: These posts are inclined more towards my interpretation and perceptions than towards facts. I like to call them cryptic posts because these posts try to say more than what’s in the words. These posts are usually sarcastic or argumentative in nature. The posts usually end with a lesson or two and tend to leave a lot of understanding to reader’s discretion. These posts are usually long and are targeted for more than just the casual readers.

Nevertheless, there is something that you will learn about Darden in both categories of posts. Some posts fall in no man’s land so you will find links to those posts in both categories. Enjoy the reading.
